Bae U apologises over sex-for-role allegation

Skit maker Adebayo Ridwan Abidemi aka Bae U has apologised over the sex-for-role allegation against him.

Instagram blogger Gist Lovers had on Sunday shared screenshots of conversations, accusing the comedian of demanding sex from a lady before casting her in his skit.

Reacting in a series of videos shared on his Instagram page on Monday, Bae U apologised, stating that it was an act of blackmail.

According to him, the romance between him and the lady in question happened a long time ago while he was still living in Lagos mainland. He stated that he has learned his lessons and promised to make more videos for those who still think he is funny.

He said: I’m here because of those that love me, and have let down I have seen received every stone thrown at me. I am not here to blame anyone but myself, I have been heartbroken.

“After Gislovers posted the whole stuff, I started getting unsent messages and I thought people didn’t want to do anything with me. I saw a girl that said I spoilt her ex-relationship. I remember this clearly, she lives around my street in the mainland, I was new to this sticking around, we had sex and fun.

“I have learnt, I am learning and I will do better. Nevertheless, I say Alhamdulillah.”
