President of Omega Fire Ministries Worldwide Apostle Johnson Suleman has denied allegations that he sent away the families of three of his police orderlies who were killed during an attack on his convoy on October 21.

Suleman said in a tweet on Monday that no such thing happened.

“I was just told that some social media platforms carried that some families of the Slain policemen came to my house and were chased away,” he wrote.

“My worry is the confidence with which people lie. Nothing of such happened. Expect more of their lies, it’s their source of livelihood.”

Suleman also acknowledged a statement released by the presidential candidate of the Labour Party Peter Obi condemning the attack.

Six people, including three police orderlies, were killed in the attack by gunmen along Benin–Auchi Road, Edo State.

Suleman, his wife and children were unhurt as they were riding in a bulletproof SUV.

The cleric had accused the police of complicity in the attack on his convoy.
