Unified heavyweight boxing champion, Anthony Joshua, on Saturday, attended a Black Lives Matter protest in his hometown of Watford despite needing crutches to walk.

The 30-year-old marched through the town before addressing a gathering at a park.

“We can no longer sit back and remain silent on these senseless, unlawful killings,” he told the crowd.

British actor, John Boyega, on Tuesday attended a similar demonstration in London to protest against the killing of George Floyd, an unarmed black man who died after police officer, Derek Chauvin, knelt on his kneck for over eight minutes.

The Star Wars delivered an impassioned speech at the rally and made it clear that it does not matter to him if his career is negatively affected as a result.
