The Western Security Network, also known as Amotekun, has arrested some secondary school students identified as fans of singer Naira Marley in Oyo State.
A video shared multiple times on social shows the students – allegedly caught in a bush – kept in the back of an Amotekun van.
Some adults are also seen making video recordings of the students.
A student nicknamed Naira Marley is said to be in senior secondary school (SSS) 3.
A female voice is heard describing the boys as “criminals in the school.”
She is also heard telling one of the boys that “you were trained to become somebody good in life, but see what you have turned yourself to.”
The Oyo State Government has not made any official statement about the incident as at the time of filing this report.
