Actor Ali Nuhu has knocked Afrobeat singer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, over a controversial music video he posted online.

Davido on Friday, July 22, tweeted the music video of Logos Olori one of the artistes signed to his label DMW.

In the video, some people pose as Muslims praying before suddenly launching into dancing.

Reacting to the music video on Sunday via Instagram, Ali said that as much as people want to be creative in their various fields, they should also respect other people’s religion, culture and traditions.

The Kannywood star advised Davido to take down the video and apologise to Muslims.

Ali wrote, “I just came across the controversial video posted by @Davido, as much as we want to be creative in our various fields, we should learn to respect other people’s religion, culture and tradition. This is totally unacceptable in Islam. You should pull down that video and apologize for hurting the entire Muslim ummah.”
