Algerian side bundle MFM FC from CAF Champions League

Seven-time Algerian champions, MC Alger, have knocked out CAF Champions League rookie, MFM FC, following a 6-0 victory on Saturday.

Having triumphed 2-1 last week in Lagos, the Prayer Warriors needed to avoid defeat in Algiers.

However, they were thumped by Bernard Casoni’s team in front of an intimidating 64,000 fans.

Sofiane Bendebka opened the floodgates after just three minutes.

It was two seven minutes later no thanks to Walid Derragjada.

Hichem Nekkache and Amir Karaoui made sure the Algerians finished the first half with four.

The hosts continued from where they stopped in the second, hitting their fifth of the game as Nekkache got his brace in the 55th minute.

Another strike from Derragjada simply buried the Prayer Warriors.
