Lucky Aiyedatiwa has assumed office as the acting governor of Ondo State.

Before assuming office, Ondo House of Assembly confirmed Governor Rotimi Akeredolu forwarded a letter, stating that Aiyedatiwa should be acting governor of the state.

Speaker Olamide Oladiji said the governor’s action was in line with Section 190 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (as amended).
