Bella Disu, executive vice-chairman of Globacom and daughter of the company’s chairman Mike Adenuga, on Sunday night stole the show at the company’s lavish appreciation party held at Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Mrs Disu was dressed in a stylish green attire to reflect the company’s colour. She complemented it with her trademark red lipstick.

At the party themed ‘Twenty and Unlimited’ held as part of Globacom’s 20th anniversary celebration, the company splashed millions of naira to appreciate its long-serving employees.

Globacom rewarded 89 staff members who had worked for it for up to 20 years.

Disu noted that the board and management of the company were pleased with the awardees for their contributions to the growth of the business in the last 20 years, and encouraged them to continue to strive for excellence.

“This year, I want us to move forward with even greater zeal and energy than we had in our first two decades, and I want you to know without a doubt that your work is the foundation and key to our future,” she said.

“This year, we are committed not only to our company’s growth but to your individual success. We will work tirelessly to increase value for you, our staff, all our subscribers and to all stakeholders. This is our promise to you. Thank you for 20 years. Together, we are good and together we are unlimited.”

The high-octane party had in attendance members of staff from across the country who thronged the venue in signature Glo colour-compliant dresses and were entertained by the trio of Wande Coal, and Glo ambassadors Chike and Kizz Daniel.
