Justice Peter Affen of FCT High Court, Maitama, on Tuesday ordered the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to produce a copy of the Magistrates’ charge sheet against NFF President, Amaju Pinnick, and General Secretary, Muhammed Sanusi.

The order was given after NFF’s counsel, Festus Ukpe, informed the court that the same matter was before a magistrate court against Pinnick and Sanusi.

Mr Ukpe is now to file further affidavit before May 30, the next date for hearing, showing that the case was pending in such court.

Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) recently joined Pinnick and Sanusi in the alleged $9.5 million FIFA grant scam charge.

EFCC had only arraigned NFF Director of Administration and Finance, Christopher Andekin; Cashier, Reagan Zaka; and Head of Finance and Account Department, Fadanari Mamza.

They were arraigned on five counts of criminal conspiracy, breach of trust and misappropriation.

EFCC’s counsel, Steve Odiase, told the court that the three defendants conspired between January 8 and January 26, 2015, to divert money meant for development of football in Nigeria.

The defendants have all pleaded not guilty to the charges.
