General overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God Pastor Enoch Adeboye and wife Foluke on Friday celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary.
Known by their followers as Daddy and Mummy GO, the couple shared the same photo on their social media pages, showing how they transitioned from a young couple to one that has become a model for many across the world.
They captioned their post, “56 years of beautiful companionship.
“56 years of shared moments. 56 years of God’s goodness. 56 years of Kingdom partnership. 56 years of shared victories. Thank You Jesus, Thank You Lord!”

The church’s public relations arm wrote on Instagram, “Happy wedding anniversary to our parents-in-the-Lord @pastorfoluadeboye @pastoreaadeboyeofficial.
“May the years ahead bring more bliss and joy.”
The RCCG leader and his wife got married in 1967 shortly after Adeboye completed his first degree at the University of Lagos graduating with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics.
Their union produced four children — three boys and a girl. One of their children Dare Adeboye died in his sleep in May 2021.
