Nollywood actress, Rita Dominic, clocked 41 on Tuesday, having been born on Saturday, July 12, 1975.
Given her popularity onscreen and on the red carpet, the Theatre Art graduate of the University of Port Harcourt is the topic of discussion among fans, friends and colleagues as she advances in age.

1. Is she really a good actress?
Starting in 1998 and scoring a hit in Basorge Tariah Jnr’s My Guy alongside Ali Baba, Ernest Asuzu and others, Rita has gone on to appear in over 80 Nollywood movies and won countless awards. Some of her most memorable recognitions are Outstanding Actress, 2004 City People Awards; Best Actress in a Lead Role, 2012 Africa Movie Academy Awards; Best Actress in a Lead Role 2013 Nollywood Movie Awards; Best Actress in a Lead Role film, 2013 Nigeria Entertainment Awards, and Best Actress in a Comedy, 2015 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards. So good is Rita that organisers of the 2014 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards were compelled to give her a New Era Award.
2. Is she that beautiful?
Touted as the girl with the kissable lips in her early days in Nollywood, Rita has since become the beauty with the total package. You do not become the Face of Zaron Cosmetics and Ambassador of Flattummy Tea if you can’t turn a man’s head. 4. When will she get married?

No interview with the actress is complete without the question: “When should we expect you to walk down the aisle?” She has in fact been married off to the likes of Jim Iyke, Desmond Elliot, Alexx Ekubo, Mike Ezuruonye and Mikel Obi several times in the media it is a miracle she never got pregnant by telepathic insemination. She however told Genevieve magazine in 2014 that “It’s not by choice that I am unmarried”.
