Zahra Buhari-Indimi daughter of President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed grief over the recent killing of 43 farmers by Boko Haram fighters in Borno.

“My heart bleeds,” she wrote on Instastories on Monday.

The killing of the farmers has sparked national outrage, with growing calls for the sack of the security chiefs.

The latest victims of Boko Haram lived in Zabarmari, a farming community in Jere Local Government Area, famous for rice cultivation and local processing.

According to the United Nations, 110 people were killed in the attack, but the Nigerian military say they counted 43 bodies.
