Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson, has finally revealed the face of her daughter, Ryn Roberts, one and half years after the baby was born.

The revelation was made on Friday as the 32-year-old posted a picture of mother and child on the cover of the April 2018 edition of Agoo magazine on Instagram.

Yvonne, who has been criticised for having a child out of wedlock, said having the child is her prayer answered.

“People have been saying all sorts about why I’m having a baby ( @rynroberts ) whilst I’m not married. This is an answered prayer for me, they have no idea. Yvonne, who once dated Nigerian singer, Iyanya, gave birth to the child she conceived with her British boyfriend, Jamie Roberts, on Sunday, October 29, 2017.

Speaking with the BBC in an interview last year, the Single and Married actress said having a child in wedlock is the right thing to do but that the African society puts a lot of pressure on women.

“I believe it’s the right thing to do. To get married, have kids, raise a family is ideal but I believe society puts a lot of pressure on women, young women in Africa especially.

“I am a very positive person. I don’t let all the negativity and all the bad talks get to me. I was staying positive. I had loved ones around me plus I had this beautiful blessing in my arms. It was all joy for me. I wasn’t listening to all the negativity outside at all. It didn’t really affect me at all.”
