AdeboyeThe Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) has declared that terror group, Boko Haram, will be defeated before the end of 2015.

Head of Media and Public Relations, Pastor Segun Adegbiji, made the statement Wednesday at the Redemption Camp in Ogun State, during a news briefing on the church’s 63rd annual convention.

We prayed against Ebola, that it should get out of this country and whether you believe it or not, God answered our prayers and it left. Boko Haram is a monster and it will be defeated this year.

“We are working on the security of our churches. If those people should attempt to do that next time, they will be in serious trouble.”

A male suicide bomber detonated a bomb at a parish of the church in the Jigawa area of Potiskum, Yobe on Sunday, June killing five on the spot.

A female member who sustained injuries also died while receiving treatment in hospital.

“The victims included a woman and her two children, the pastor and another worshipper,” a policeman told AFP.

The 2015 convention tagged ‘The All Sufficient God’ will hold from August 3 to 9.
