Yoruba actor, Dagunro, buried in Osogbo

Veteran Nollywood actor, Fasasi Olabankewin, popularly known as Dagunro, has been buried in Osogbo.

The actor died on Thursday, June 13 and his death was confirmed by actor, Adekola Tijani, in an Instagram post on the same day.

Dagunro was buried according to Muslim rites at his residence in the Osun state capital.

The road leading to the burial site was filled with fans and mourners who wanted to catch a glimpse of the veteran actor before being laid to rest.

Dagunro was known for his roles in epic Yoruba movies.

He starred in movies such as Iboji (2008), Akoni Méfà  and Omo Inu Oku.
