Singers Yemi Alade and Tiwa Savage have finally put years of rumours and tension behind them at the Entertainment Week Africa event.
The emotional moment has been widely shared online, signalling a long-awaited reconciliation in the industry.
The two superstars, who reportedly fell out in 2018 over a collaboration and social media disagreements, had not publicly spoken for years. That feud included unfollowing each other on Instagram and sparked endless fan speculation.
At the event, where both were facilitators, Yemi praised Tiwa for blazing a trail for female artists in Nigeria.
Tiwa was visibly emotional, shedding tears as fellow singer Waje comforted her.
The two shared a warm hug, with Yemi joking about preparing pounded yam for Tiwa, who laughed and accepted the offer.
