Musicians, Yemi Alade and Burna Boy, have pledged support for Sudanese amidst crisis in the North African country.

Yemi Alade, 30, posted a message of support on Instagram on Thursday.

“We stand with #SUDAN ,at this difficult time and we pray for Peace, healing and Love.  In #Nigeria also we should not forget what is happening in the North, so many lives lost over the Vanities of the world. Human life is Priority, PEACE and LOVE is the ONLY WAY. 👊🏽👊🏽👊🏽,” she wrote.

Afro-fusion star, Burna Boy, also pledged to help agencies providing medical aid to the country.

Since the ousting of long-term ruler, Omar Bashir, the country has been on the edge of a violent revolution.

In the last 10 days, at least 124 people have been killed by regime forces and more than 700 have been injured as protests have steadily engulfed the capital city, Khartoum.
