Yar’Adua’s son set to wed

Shehu Yar’Adua, one of the sons of the late former President Umaru Yar’Adua, is set marry Yacine, daughter of a member of the House of Representatives Mohammed-Nur Sheriff.

A planning committee headed by a former secretary to the government of the federation, Yayale Ahmed, is in charge of the wedding, family sources quoted by Daily Trust said.

The committee has top politicians such as former PDP national chairman Adamu Muazu as members.

The wedding is scheduled to hold in Maiduguri, Borno on Saturday, July 23 while a dinner will hold on July 31 in Abuja.

Shehu, 29, obtained his first degree in economics from the Schellhammer Business School, Spain, and a master’s in international relations from Webster University in Netherlands.

Yacine, 22, holds a bachelor’s degree in hospitality management from the University of Surrey, United Kingdom.
