Actress Mide Martins and her husband Afeez Owo have been declared grandparents by ex-beauty queen Yetunde Barnabas whom they often referred to as their daughter.
Yetunde who announced the birth of her daughter, Gemma, in an Instagram post on Wednesday said this in the comment section of Mide’s congratulatory message on Instagram on Thursday.
Yetunde thanked her godmother Mide for her congratulatory message, calling her a grandmother.
Mide wrote “CONGRATULATIONS MY BABYGIRL. I’m SO PROUD OF YOU @yetundebarnabas. MAY GOD CONTINUE TO BLESS YOUR HOME. THANK YOU LORD FOR EVERYTHING.”
“Eti di GrandMa oo. Thank You, Mama. Love You,” Yetunde replied in the comment section of the post.
Yetunde also called Mide’s husband Afeez Owo a grandfather in the comment section of his congratulatory post.
Mide and Yetunde share a mother and daughter relationship.
The duo often post photos of themselves rocking matching outfits.
Captioning one of the photos, Mide wrote: “Mother et daughter. Slay baby and Momma.”
Yetunde was crowned Miss Tourism Nigeria in 2019.
She got married to Peter Olayinkain in March 2021.
