World Cup: Odemwingie celebrates with Russia after Saudi Arabia win

Ex-Super Eagles forward, Osaze Odemwingie, is delighted with Russia’s opening day 5-0 thrashing of Saudi Arabia on Thursday.

The World Cup host produced a five-star performance to defeat the Asians in presence of over 80,000 fans at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow.

Goals from Yuri Gazinskiy, Denis Cheryshev with two, Artem Dzyuba and Aleksandr Golovin did the damage.

Odemwingie, whose mum is Russian and currently in the European nation was ecstatic at the outcome.

The ex-West Brom star had earlier picked five nations he would be supporting at the Mundial.

Russia leads that group which also has Nigeria, France, Belguim and England.
