Amaka Okeke, the woman accused by Sandra Onyenuchenuya, Frank Edoho’s estranged wife, of having an affair with the TV host, has denied the allegation and threatened legal action.
Last year, Frank Edoho revealed that his marriage to Sandra ended in December 2022, describing the experience as “devastating”.
On Tuesday, the media personality said he was gradually moving on from the failed marriage and appreciated those who had reached out with prayers, concern and kind words.
Following the breakup, rumours also surfaced alleging that Sandra had cheated on Edoho with a Nigerian singer. Sandra later addressed the claims, accusing the TV host of infidelity during their marriage and mentioned names of women he allegedly had relationships with. Okeke’s name was included among those mentioned.
In an Instagram post on Friday, Okeke, the executive director of business development at Optiva Capital Partners, denied the allegation, describing it as “false, malicious and baseless”. She said she only met Edoho in 2024 for business-related reasons and later became friends with him in 2025 while he was dealing with a personal issue.
Okeke urged the public to stop spreading unverified claims, warning that her legal team had been informed and would take action.
“Over the past few hours, my name has been wrongly linked to false and baseless allegations currently circulating online. For clarity, Frank Edoho and I met in 2024 on strictly business related matters and only became good friends in May 2025 when he was dealing with a personal matter which I will not bring up here for privacy reasons,” she wrote.
“Any narrative beyond this is completely untrue. I am deeply disappointed to see my name attached to narratives that are malicious, baseless, and entirely inaccurate. I kindly ask that people refrain from spreading unverified claims that may harm individuals, families, and reputations.
“I remain focused on my work and will not be engaging further on this matter. My legal team have been informed accordingly and will take action in due course. Thank you to everyone who has reached out with support.”
Frank Edoho was previously married to broadcaster Katherine Obiang, with whom he has three children. Their marriage ended in 2010 after seven years.
In 2013, he married Sandra Onyenuchenuya. The couple welcomed their first child in 2014 and a second in 2016.
He later confirmed the separation from Sandra, saying the marriage ended in December 2022, with divorce proceedings ongoing for about two years. Sandra has also publicly accused him of infidelity during the marriage.
