Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, who is seeking re-election on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has shunned the BBC Pidgin Governorship debate at The Hub, Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
The state’s governorship candidate of Accord Party, Dumo Lulu-Briggs, has also stayed away from the debate.
However, the candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Precious Elekima, had to force his way into the venue on Thursday after being excluded from the debate.
