Why TB Joshua’s disciples are now getting married — Prophet Mfon Tommy

A disciple of the late Prophet TB Joshua and leader of Peace Ark Ministry, Prophet Mfon Tommy, has said that Joshua’s disciples are now getting married because Joshua’s death relieved them of their hectic work schedule.

Since Joshua’s death in June 2021, several of his disciples including one of his most trusted assistants, wiseman Racine, have gotten married.

Another disciple of Joshua, Chris Tonge, announced on Monday, August 15 that he was getting married to Allison who used to be a translator at the Synagogue Church of All Nations in Lagos.

Reacting to rumour that Joshua’s disciples did not get married for diabolic reasons when he was alive, Tommy said in a YouTube video posted on Sunday, August 14 that the disciples were too committed to be distracted by marriage.

“If you’ve been to the Synagogue Church of All Nations and have stayed there for one week you would understand that it won’t be possible for you to get married especially when daddy (Joshua) was around. It’s because your whole body, soul and spirit is needed to run that ministry,” he said.

Tommy noted that the disciples were so committed that at 2am when people are asleep they would still be up doing God’s work.

“Seeing them wedding now is because they are free and have time for themselves,” he added.

Chris announced his wedding in a video posted to Instagram on Sunday.

In the video, Chris shared pictures of himself and his Colombian fiancée Allison, revealing that his decision on marriage was based on divine revelation.

He said, “By divine design, I am getting married. This important decision is a product of divine revelation, clear heart conviction and perfect timing of the Almighty God.”

“I’m happy to say that she is a woman after God’s heart. We both surrendered our hearts completely to God,” he noted, adding that love is beautiful.

Justin Reese, another disciple of Joshua, wasted no time in congratulating the intending couple.

He wrote on Instagram, “Congratulations to my dear brother Chris and Allison. A match made in Heaven. The right time brings about the right person indeed!”
