Fashion entrepreneur Sophia Momodu has revealed why she no longer posts pictures of her daughter, Imade Adeleke, online.
The 38-year-old made the disclosure on Snapchat while responding to a fan who asked why her pre-teen daughter had been missing from her social media.
The fan wrote, “To post Imade na war.”
Sophia replied that it is a real battle as she has become more protective of her daughter as she grows. She said, “Real battle. I find that I’ve become even more protective as she’s growing.”
Imade Adeleke is the daughter of singer Davido and Sophia Momodu. Though the couple separated years ago, both parents continue to prioritise their daughter’s welfare. Sophia has also said that having another child is currently not her priority.
In June, following Imade’s 10th birthday party, Sophia had stated, “I have repeatedly said that I do not care about whatever is being said about me.”
The birthday reunion between Sophia and Davido sparked reactions online, highlighting the challenges of co-parenting in the public eye.
