Someone at the League Management Company (LMC) took stupidity to an all-time low with a Twitter post after Otor Ezekiel of Enyimba was shown a straight red in Sunday’s goalless draw with Warri Wolves.
Bad as Ezekiel’s offence was, it was nowhere near the totally reckless message posted by the verified account of the organisation set up for the purpose of organising and promoting the Nigeria Professional Football League.
How do you promote the game when a red carded footballer is made to look like a criminal in a police holding cell?
The jokers can’t even spell.
Whatever it is they are passing around at the LMC is definitely not good for the beautiful game.
