UNIMED teaching hospital CMD, Oluwole Ige, tests positive for coronavirus

Chief Medical Director of the University of Medical Sciences (UNIMED) Teaching Hospital, Akure, Ondo State, Dr Oluwole Ige, has tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19).

This was announced on Thursday in a statement by Adeeyo Babatunde on behalf of Ige.

The CMD is responding to treatment, according to the statement.

“All members of staff of the teaching hospital and the general public are hereby advised to go about their normal duties and continue to observe universal precautions against the COVID-19 pandemic, as we also wish the CMD quick recovery,” the statement read.
