Actress Uche Montana has opened up about her struggles with finding love, despite being widely admired for her looks.
In an interview with Uncut Xtra Magazine, the 31-year-old said public perception and the nature of her career often make it difficult for men to approach her with genuine intentions.
She explained that her personality, lifestyle and the attention that comes with being in the entertainment industry can be intimidating, noting that only a certain kind of man would be able to fully accept everything that comes with her public image.
Uche also challenged the common belief that attractive women have it easy in relationships. According to her, many people assume that beautiful women are always in relationships or surrounded by admirers, which discourages potential partners from making a move.
She said this misconception often leaves many women single, not because they do not want relationships, but because they are misunderstood.
“It’s going to take a special kind of man to have all of these. Pretty girls are the ones that are not really always in a relationship because people think that we are.”
Uche began her acting career in 2015 and gained recognition for her role in the television series Hush. She has since featured in several Nollywood productions and remains one of the notable faces among younger actors in the industry.
