It was confirmed Tuesday that Pastor Reno Omokri has been sidelined as head of President Goodluck Jonathan’s new media team.
It is not a sack as some people thought.
The appointment of Obi Asika as Senior Special Assistant to Jonathan on New Media simply means Omokri who is a Special Assistant will have to report to the former.
And Omokri has not left his position even in the face of demotion.
His Twitter profile as at Wednesday morning still refers to him as Special Assistant to the President Jonathan on New Media.
Trust Nigerians, it is payback time for the man who blocks people at will, initiate hate campaigns and became a liability for a President in need of serious image makeover.
