Arsenal forward, Alex Iwobi, broke an age-long jinx by finding the target in Nigeria’s 2-1 defeat by England at Wembley on Saturday.
No Nigerian had managed to break the Three Lions’ defence in any competitive game.
Iwobi, who featured for England at youth level, notched the strike two minutes into the second half.
Garry Cahill and Harry Kane had put the hosts in front.
