TVC goes off air as mob sets station on fire

A fire outbreak at the premises of Television Continental (TVC) in Ikosi-Ketu, Lagos forced the station to go off air on Wednesday morning.

The fire was reportedly started by hoodlums in retaliation of the alleged killing of protesters by security agents at the Lekki Toll Plaza on Tuesday night.

TVC is believed to be owned by former Lagos governor Bola Tinubu.

Morayo Brown, who was anchoring the popular ‘Your View’ disclosed during live show that a mob was trying to force its way into the premises.
