Legendary cinematographer, Tunde Kelani, paid a visit to the primary school he attended as a child, Oke-Ona United Primary School, Abeokuta.

The accomplished filmmaker disclosed this in an Instagram post on Friday.

“Oke Ona United Primary School, Abeokuta, my alma mater got a boost with new block of five classrooms rebuilt by late Michael Olalekan Oyebola and family. UP SCHOOL!” he wrote.

Tunde Kelani revealed that his documentary, Yoruba without Borders, which premiered at the iREP movie festival in March was shot with two smartphones.

He said that the film was shot over a week and two days while post-production work took six weeks.

The documentary explores the artificial borders that separate people of the Yoruba race across West African countries and how the colonial period abruptly divided them.
