Pastor Gbenga Onabanjo of Fountain of Life Church joined some dignitaries on Friday in Lagos to pay glowing tributes to Bose, the widow of the late human rights activist, Beko Ransome-Kuti.

Bose died on December 3 aged 74, about a month to her 75th birthday.

Beko was the younger brother of the late Afrobeat icon, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti.

Others who attended the commendation service in her honour include Ekiti State Governor, Kayode Fayemi; a former National Democratic Coalition (NADECO) chieftain, Pa Ayo Opadokun; rights lawyer, Femi Falana; activist Joe Okei-Odumakin among others.

Pastor Onabanjo said Bose associated with all who believed in the ideals of freedom, democracy and a prosperous Nigeria.

The cleric said she lived a humble and dedicated life in the service of God and humanity.

“Abosede was a daughter of Zion. Throughout her lifetime, she propagated freedom and associated with all lovers of democracy,” Onabanjo said.

Until her death, Bose was a board member of Women Arise; as well as the chief executive of Boselli Ventures Limited, Lagos.

Onabanjo enjoined members of the Ransome-Kuti family and loved ones to give God the glory for a life well spent.
