Toyin Saraki’s nephew, niece win track races in US varsity

Temi and Omotade Ojora, the niece and nephew respectively of wife of former Senate President Toyin Saraki, have won track races at the University of Southern California (USC) track and field events.

Mrs Saraki congratulated the duo on Monday via Twitter, saying she was proud of them.

“A wonderful start to my #MondayMotivation: congratulating a great nephew’s excellence in his sport!
Well done Tade! #ItTakesaVillage #OjoraApasa to raise a champion!” she wrote about Omotade.

On March 27, Omotade who competes in the hurdles category won the M-110m HH with a time of 14.42. Earlier on March 20, he won the M-110m hurdles with a time of 13.76.

Concerning Temi, Mrs Saraki wrote: “Well done Temi! Super proud of you.”

Temi on March 20 won the W-TJ with a mark of 12.90 and placed ninth on the USC AT list.

Temi and Omotade were born in the United Kingdom to Adeyinka and Ngozi Ojora. They have another sibling named Tobi.
