Actress-turned-politician Tonto Dikeh has opened up about her spiritual journey, revealing how the Holy Spirit healed her from struggles that once ruled her life.
In a heartfelt Instagram post on Tuesday, she shared how God delivered her from sexual immorality, anger and other personal battles.
Tonto explained that celibacy became a source of strength, not suppression. “Celibacy has been one of the most powerful experiences of my life. I trained my heart to be disgusted by intimacy without love, because true love is patient and holy,” she wrote. She added that this transformation helped her hear God more clearly and manage her emotions wisely.
The actress also celebrated restoration in her personal life, revealing that God reunited her with her sister after over 40 years apart. “What was lost can be found again in His mercy,” she said, describing the reunion as a miraculous moment of grace.
Tonto reflected on the unmerited favor she has received, noting that “doors open before I knock. Protocols are lifted for my sake. It is not luck. It is grace in motion.”
She also emphasised the importance of peace, saying, “My peace is now sacred. If it does not feed my spirit, it does not deserve my energy.” Having survived pain and darkness, she now prioritizes protecting her light and living intentionally.
She reunited with her long-lost sister, Chinyere in January, following a prophetic word during a church service led by Pastor Jerry Eze. Tonto’s father had previously mentioned a daughter he lost contact with, and the reunion led to an emotional family gathering.
The moment was captured on video as Tonto, accompanied by her son and father, embraced her sister warmly.
