Tolu Onalaja apologises for outburst against aggrieved Revolution Plus customers

Executive director of Revolution Plus, Tolu Onalaja, has apologised for her outburst against aggrieved customers of the real estate company.

In an Interview with GoldmyneTV on Wednesday, Onalaja said she got emotional over the messages sent to her and it overwhelmed her.

She also stated that her intentions were genuine and it was wrong for her to react in the way she did.

She said: “I was overwhelmed with thoughts of how to pay salaries and subsidiaries. This is what I worked for, my intentions are genuine. I have put in all my life and someone is trying to damage it.

“I got emotional and that is why I reacted that way. I realise it was wrong for me to react that way, but as you said I am human, I am not perfect. I have to make mistakes which I sincerely tender an apology for.”

The company had on Tuesday, debunked allegations that it defrauded customers after some of its brand ambassadors were called out on social media.

The company said in a statement posted to its Instagram page that it was built on integrity and trust.

“Our attention has been drawn to certain allegations, assertions and false accusations levied against RevolutionPlus Property Development Company Limited,” the statement read.

“We wish to state categorically that RevolutionPlus Property was built on integrity and trust; and this has remained our modus operandi over these past few years.

“We wish to state that as it is with every business entity, there will always be a few dissatisfied customers but we wish to make some clarifications on the series of complaints and allegation levelled against us as this will enable us resolve all underlying issues.”

The company acknowledged that some clients have made full payments but have not been given their allocation within the said timeline, for such clients it said it was working “round the clock” to ensure such pending allocations are resolved.

The real estate company, whose group managing director and chief executive is Bamidele Onalaja, tagged its ambassadors – Toyin Abraham, Brodda Shaggi, Odunlade Adekola and Testimony Jaga – to the post.
