Tiwa Savage visits Nelson Mandela’s home

Mavin first lady, Tiwa Savage, has visited the home of late South Africa President, Nelson Mandela.

She was received by Madiba’s grandson, Ndaba Mandela.

The Nigerian pop queen took to Instagram on Friday to express her gratitude at the opportunity.

”It was such an honour to meet you,” she said to Ndaba in her post. “May God continue to guide and bless you as you continue your Grandfathers Legacy”

Tiwa’s trip to South Africa is part of a worldwide promo for her RED Album.

The singer who is a goodwill ambassador for Orphanage Africa was rewarded with a Hero of the Month award in the country and she took time to visit victims of child trafficking at the Door of Hope orphanage on Sunday, July 10

”I feel in love with their little souls, just watched some of them sleeping with their little hearts beating. God help us all create a better world for the little innocent ones.”

Tiwa is due to perform at the One Africa Music Fest in Brooklyn, New York, USA on July 22.

The festival will also feature Mavin Boss Don Jazzy, Davido, WizKid, Wale, Timaya, Banky W, Flavour, Stonebwoy, Praiz, Seun Kuti, Jidenna and Diamond Platnumz.
