Pop diva Tiwa Savage has revisited her leaked sex video, noting that the scandal cannot ruin her life.
Tiwa spoke about the scandal a recently released single ‘Loaded’ which also features YBNL signee Asake.
The mother of one said her blackmailer tried to damage her reputation but the sex tape cannot ruin her.
“They planned against me, but sex tape can’t ruin my life,” Tiwa sang in Yoruba.
She proceeded to say, “who never f*ck, hands in the air”.
The 42-year-old who recently received an honorary doctorate degree in music from her alma mater, the University of Kent spoke about her struggles growing up and how the sex scandal affected her while giving a speech.
I failed at a lot of things actually,” she began.
“I was bullied at school severely when I moved to the UK, I ran away from home a few times, I was suspended a few times from school.”
Speaking on her sex tape scandal, the mother of one said, “I’ve been globally ridiculed a couple of times, I’m not going to say what it is but it rhymes with tape’. The irony.”
The ‘Somebody’s Son’ singer made headlines after the release of a sex video of her and an unidentified partner in October 2021.
Tiwa had earlier said during an interview that someone was blackmailing her with the sex video but she was not going to pay anybody for doing something natural. The 10-second was eventually released and it is living rent-free in thousands on mobile phones around the world.
