Singer Tiwa Savage has gifted actress Iyabo Ojo the sum of N500,000 to support her on the forthcoming memorial of her mum.
Iyabo who made this known on Instagram on Friday also thanked Tiwa for her support.
“Awwwwwwwww my brown chocolate our very own African Queen Tiwa Savage God bless you loads, I’m so overwhelmed, honestly……. Thank you once again, Love you loads,” she wrote.
Iyabo has been using the hashtag #VOF2021 to promote her mother’s first remembrance and final burial ceremony.
The actress’ mother’s full name is Victoria Olubnunmi Fetuga.
The actress has been sending the aseobi for the memorial ceremony to her invitees.
Actress Peggy Ovire and Elizabeth Omowunmi posted their aseobi and invitation card on Instagram.
Iyabo had announced in January 2021 that she was going to throw a big party for her mum on her one-year remembrance.
She announced the death of her mum in November 2020.
According to her, her mum passed away in her sleep. Mrs Fetuga was buried at the Ebony Vault Ikoyi, Lagos State.
