Gospel singers Mercy Chinwo, Frank Edward, Bidemi Olaoba, along with Pastor Blessed Uzochikwa have linked up in a Lagos studio as preparations heighten for the 20th edition of The Experience.

A video shared on Instagram by Frank on Wednesday shows them taking turns to declare this year’s theme, “Jesus United.”

The post was captioned: “TE20!!! Jesus united!!! It’s been a week of multiple recordings in preparation for @theexperiencelagos 20!! Are you ready?? @mercychinwo @bidemiolaoba @theofficialblessed.”

The Experience, convened by House on the Rock Church, will hold its landmark edition on Friday, December 5, at Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos. The all-night worship event, which begins at 7pm, is free and expected to attract hundreds of thousands of worshippers from across Nigeria and around the world.

Organisers say the “Jesus United” theme marks the concert’s 20-year milestone and highlights unity across denominations, nations and generations. They describe TE20 as a celebration of “the power of worship to unite hearts under Christ.”

This year’s lineup features a blend of Nigerian and international gospel ministers, including Travis Greene, Chevelle Franklyn, Onos Ariyo, Beejay Sax, Muyiwa Olarewaju, Israel Houghton, Dunsin Oyekan, Mike Aremu, Mercy Chinwo, Naomi Raine, Chandler Moore, Adeyinka Alaseyori, Sinach, Frank Edwards, Mr M & Revelation, Moses Bliss, Bidemi Olaoba and the Lagos Metropolitan Gospel Choir (LMGC).

Making their debut at the event are Gaise Baba and Tolu Odukoya.

The Experience is regarded as one of the largest gospel concerts in the world, known for its dawn-to-morning sessions and massive global livestream audience.
