TB Joshua’s family debunks report of daughter’s childbirth

Contrary to reports that Sarah, one of the daughters of the late founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) Prophet T.B Joshua, has given birth to a baby boy, a source in the church has described the rumour as false.

Sarah, a lawyer, was reported to have been delivered of a baby boy on June 12 which happened to be Joshua’s 58th posthumous birthday.

The reports suggested that Joshua had reincarnated.

Sarah got married to Tanzanian Bryan Moshi in December 2020 at a Catholic church located at Unga Ltd in Arusha, northeast of Tanzania.

The wedding was followed by a grand reception held at the Arusha International Conference Center (AICC).

Speaking on the rumoured childbirth, a source told ChurchTimes that it was false.

“This is not true, nothing like that happened,” the source said.

The union is yet to produce a child, according to the source.

Joshua’s other child Promise is currently undergoing a master’s degree programme in the UK, a source told Qed.ng.

Joshua spoke about his family in an interview at The SCOAN Prayer Mountain last year.

Asked what he had to say about his family and their involvement in the ministry, Joshua said, “I have a wife and I have children. My first daughter is doing her PhD and my second daughter is doing her master’s degree. In all, I have three daughters. The last one is still in secondary school. I would have loved my wife to be like me but I cannot make her what I am; it is God. I can’t anoint her; God is the one that anoints people.

“This is not a biological issue; it is an inheritance from the saints – being a partaker of the inheritance from the saints. So, therefore, I should not use anything in my biological life to stop my spiritual life.”
