Prophet Racine Bousso and his wife Ruth, both former disciples of the late Prophet TB Joshua of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), have visited fellow disciple Christopher Tonge, popularly known as Brother Chris, following the birth of his son.
Brother Chris and his wife Allison Tonge recently welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Josiah Timothy Tonge.
The UK-born preacher shared the news on Instagram on Monday, posting photos of himself, his wife and their newborn.
In a heartfelt message, he wrote, “Dear Josiah, as I hold you in my arms as a first-time father, I am struck with a holy reminder – you are ours to hold, not ours to own… You are a gift from God… a precious gift entrusted to us – for a season, for a reason… True love prepares to leave. So, I carry you carefully with the consciousness of the One who carries us both.”
He revealed that Josiah was born on Thursday, May 29 and gave thanks to God, writing, “Thank You, Jesus Christ, for the gift of life!”
Celebrating the birth, Racine shared a photo of himself and Ruth with the new parents and baby Josiah on Instagram on Wednesday.
In his caption, he said, “God is the God of all comfort. And at His appointed time, everything is beautiful. We rejoice for the coming of baby Josiah, a child of Promise… Chris and Allison, the blessing of the Lord has made the journey of two to become three. We pray for our Josiah, our nephew, as he has made his first step into the journey of destiny!”
Ruth Bousso, née Tonge, is Brother Chris’s sister.
Brother Chris and Allison tied the knot in Cali, Colombia, on September 18, 2022. Their relationship began in 2014 during a crusade led by TB Joshua in Cali, where Allison served as a translator. She later moved to Nigeria to join SCOAN full-time and served under the late prophet’s ministry.
