Stephanie Linus’ Dry to screen at Africa in Motion Film Festival

Stephanie Okreke-LinusStephanie Linus’ movie Dry is set to screen at the Africa in Motion Film Festival scheduled to hold from October 23 at The Corinthian Club in Scotland.

Dry will screen on the last day of the festival which is Sunday, November 1, 2015, at 6pm.

The movie which has been getting positive reviews was directed by Stephanie Linus herself.

Inspired by the true story of a young girl named Aisha who had to endure a life not designed for a child, the movie stars Darwin Shaw, Liz Benson Ameye, Bill McNamara, Zubaida Ibrahim and Stephanie Linus.

It earned eight nominations for the ZAFAA Global Awards 2015 including Best Child Performance (Zubaida Ibrahim Fagge), Best Producer (Stephanie Linus), Best Film, Best Actor Female (Stephanie Linus) and Best Director (Stephanie Linus).

In May, Stephanie won the Best Protagonist Award at the Geena Davis and ARC Entertainment’s Inaugural Bentonville Film Festival (BFF) in Arkansas, USA for the movie.
