South African star, Kalifonia, set to drop debut album

Emerging Afro-pop singer, Kalifonia, is poised to shake the African market with her unique brand of music, as she is set to release of her debut album.

With three singles, ‘Ibunu’, ‘Vumani Boh’ and ‘Sanko’, the multi-talented entertainer is already ruling the airwaves.

Born in Bushbuckridge, Mpumalanga, South Africa in 1993 and christened California Ntemane, the singer, who is also a songwriter, dancer and actress has collaborated with some of Nigeria’s best producers like Tspize on her first single, ‘Ibunu’ and ‘Vumani Boh’, with Nonny D, thus further raising the bar of her career as an African music star.

In the course of her career, she has worked with Mckenzie (Rhythmic Elements) on the track ‘You Make Me.’

Kalifonia is currently signed on Aloma Entertainment, a Nigerian owned and South African based label.

She is one of the foreign acts billed to perform at the forthcoming Daylight’s Bowler Hats Bash, holding on October 1, in Lagos.
