Sound Sultan’s family releases album to commemorate first death anniversary

The family of singer Sound Sultan has released the last album the singer was working on before his death.

The album was released on Monday, July 11 to commemorate the one-year anniversary of the singer’s death.

The listening party for the album, Reality CHQ, was held across three cities on Sunday night.

The event was held in New York, London, and in the Victoria Island area of Lagos.

In a video on Sultan’s page, his brother, fellow singer, Baba Dee, who spoke at the listening party in New York, noted that the album was a special project.

He said, “We are having the one year remembrance of Sound Sultan, the great iconic Nigerian singer and we are having his official listening party for the album, Reality CHQ.

“This was the album Sound Sultan was working on before he answered the call of the Almighty. This is a very special project.

“I promised myself this project will come out and people will get to hear the voice of Sound Sultan and it’s coming out on the 11th of July.”

Sound Sultan born Olanrewaju Fasasi died of cancer of the lymphatic system in the United States of America at the age of 44.
