Influencer Simi Sanya and film producer Femi Dapson have legally married in a court ceremony in Lagos.
The event took place on Wednesday, February 18.
Simi announced the development on Instagram, writing: “Legally Hitched. Mr & Mrs Dapson To You Forever.”
Their wedding journey began in November 2025 when both families held an introduction ceremony. The court wedding on Wednesday makes their union legally binding under Nigerian law.
For the ceremony, Simi wore a white dress with a high neckline and long sleeves, paired with a waist length veil. Femi opted for a beige suit with a matching shirt and pocket square.
Their relationship has drawn public attention since their engagement. Femi’s proposal, which featured a live serenade, was widely shared online. Last week Saturday, he also marked Valentine’s Day with a public billboard message to Simi in the Lekki area of Lagos.
