Sick Super Eagles assistant coach begs NFF for pay

Super Eagles assistant coach, Jean Francois Lusciuto, has pleaded with the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to release just one month out of his outstanding backlog of salary.

The Belgian, who recently underwent surgery for a stomach disorder in South Africa, is stranded in Togo after suffering a relapse of the infection.

According to Africanfootball, the tactician is in need of money to undergo another surgery and wants the NFF to pay him.

“The Whiteman is really down. His stomach problem, which needed surgery in South Africa, has persisted and he now wants to fly to Belgium for better treatment.

“He has said he only needs his salary for a month to do that and he has written several mails to the NFF, but sadly he has not received any reply,” a top NFF official disclosed.

National team head coach, Sunday Oliseh, and his assistants are being owed five months salary.

Lusciuto, who is in charge of developmental programmes in the grassroots covering local clubs and certified youth academics, earns N2million a month, making his outstanding salary N10milion.
