True love knows no colour or race. While many Nigerian female celebrities found love waiting at home, the following discovered theirs among foreigners.
- Uche Jombo-Rodriguez
Nollywood sweetheart, Uche Jombo, wedded American/Puerto Rican, Kenny Rodriguez, in the Caribbean on May 16, 2012.
After an unfortunate miscarriage, the 35- year-old was delivered of a baby boy, Matthew Rodriguez, in May 2015.
- Regina Askia-Williams
The former beauty queen and actress turned registered nurse, is married to an American, Rudolph ‘Rudy’ Williams, nephew of Ron Everette and grandson of Fess Williams. The couple have two children, daughter Teesa Olympia and son Rudolph Junior, together.
- Ufuoma McDermott
Formerly Ufuoma Ejenebor, the Nollywood actress who hails from Delta State, tied the knot with Steven McDermott on April 23, 2010.
The model welcomed son Isio McDermott on October 10, 2012 and was delivered of her second child on August 8, 2015.
- Oluchi Onweagba
Nigerian supermodel, Oluchi Onweagba, is married to Italian fashion designer Luca Orlandi.
The 1998 M-Net Face of Africa winner got married to 52-year-old Orlandi in August 2005. They welcomed their son, Ugochukwu, in 2007.
- Susan Peters
Screen diva, Susan Peters, said “I do” to a Dutchman Koen on October 11, 2015. The two tied the knot in the presence of close friends and family at the Ikoyi Marriage Registry, Lagos.
- Judith Audu
Actress, model and blogger, Judith Audu, got married to Denmark native Morten Foght in 2011 after about three years of dating.
- Anita Hogan
Gulder Ultimate Search alumnus, Anita Hogan, got married to her Dutchman Ted in 2006 despite the nude pictures scandal that shook their relationship.
The couple of nine years have two children together.

Kate Henshaw would have been high on our list but her 2000 marriage to British born Roderick James Nuttall ended after 12 years. The union of the 44-year-old actress and the now remarried Roderick produced a daughter, Gabrielle Nuttall.
