The Emir of Kano, Muhammadu  Sanusi II, was on Tuesday caught taking a selfie with Prince Charles of Wales who is on a three-day visit to Nigeria.

One of Sanusi’s aide took the picture while the Nigerian monarch exchanged pleasantries with the future king of England.

First class Nigerian monarchs were on the ground to receive Prince Charles and his wife Camilla who arrived Nigeria on the third leg of their West African tour.

Some of the monarchs were the Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Ogunwusi; Sultan of Sokoto, Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar, and Oba of Benin, Omo N’Oba Ewuare II.

Sanusi was driven to the meeting in a Rolls Royce Queen Elizabeth rode in during her visit to Nigeria in 1956.

On his arrival in Nigeria, the prince and his wife were received by President Muhammadu Buhari at the presidential villa.

During his visit to Nigeria, the prince would engage in peace-building activities, including addressing the persistent attacks of herdsmen on farming communities in Nigeria.

He is also expected to discuss practical solutions to alleviating the tensions arising from the activities of herdsmen.
