Sanusi names newborn daughter in Saudi Arabia

The deposed Emir of Kano Muhammadu Sanusi ll has named his newborn daughter Zainab Khausar in Saudi Arabia.

The naming ceremony was witnessed by his family members.

Zainab is the second child Sanusi is having with his fourth wife Sa’adatu nee Barkindo.

Sa’adatu is the daughter of Barkindo Aliyu Musdafa, the Lamido of Adamawa.

Sanusi married her in 2015 and they welcomed their first child together, Halimatu, on May 5, 2020.

The former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) married Sa’adatu when he was still Emir of Kano.

His other wives include Sadiya Ado Bayero, Maryam Sanusi, and Rakiya Sanusi.

Sadiya Ado Bayero is younger sister to Sanusi’s replacement as Emir of Kano, Aminu Ado Bayero.
