Russian promoter sues Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie, for no show

Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie, is being sued by Russia-based Ghanaian DJ and promoter, Lawrence Ampene Larson Darko.

According to reports, the promoter claims the rapper owes him a total of $11,656 in damages for an event that was meant to hold in Russia for which Sarkodie did not show up for.

The charges are for the cost of promotions, accommodation and travel expenses incurred in preparations for the show.

Sarkodie whose real name is Michael Owusu Addo is yet to comment on the allegations.

Nevertheless, the ‘Special Someone’ singer who recently released two new singles titled ‘Asante Ni’ and ‘Hand to Mouth’ is gearing up for his Rapperholic Concert which is scheduled to hold on Friday, December 25 at the Accra International Conference Centre in Ghana.
